Spending a lot of time at the camp when we are not busy. The little pond still only has a little water but enough to draw in the wildlife. I even saw a hawk splashing in the water, taking a bath. We went to the Bostwick Blueberry Festival and were too late to buy a pie but early enough to get the last of the blueberry ice cream. Yummy!Very busy volunteering with Hospice and the church for vacation bible school. I've also rejoined a couple of local committees and orgs. HAVOC, pac for the Orange Street bridge, Bellair community group. So I'm spending lots of time out of the house. Right now I'm setting up a beach park picnic for August and fundraising for disAbility Solutions, 2 days a week with Hospice.
Ray and I went to a lovely Memorial day celebration over at the Rockefeller House on the river in Ormond Beach. A Military black man spoke who's parents used to cook, drive and serve at the home. What a great speech! I asked him how they possibly found him to speak? God, was his answer. Later we had breakfast and sat next to Mayor Kelley and his wife. Small town.
Friday we are off to Baltimore for the Abels family reunion and a short stay over in Ocean City, MD with Ray's parents. Back on the 13th.
Gator and Dad on the deck.

Recycled table off the curb. Just a little paint and it's as good as new!

Our little water feature. : )
