Drenched in Florida

Wow! We have really been hit with a lot of rain! 14 inches of rain has fallen since Monday! Poor Gator hasn't been for a walk in a week and has to run outside and back in quickly before he gets soaked. : ) Winds are up to 40 MPH but not sustaining so they can't call it a hurricane. Wind is blowing so hard it wound this bulb right out of it's socket!

Other than that our flowers are REALLY happy since it had been awhile since we've had a good rain.

I was riding around some back dirt roads the other day and ran into this brick and coquina stone road out in the middle of no where. It was really neat. The ranger for the area said it was Old Deland Rd and that there used to be a turpentine factory near there. History, ya gotta love it.
Woo Woo another little pineapple. I guess we'll get one every two years. : )
