Attack Gator

Ray and Gator were out for a morning walk on Monday and were attacked by two huge german shepherds! Luckily for Gator who had been grabbed by the neck, Ray was there to fend them off. He had to kick and punch his way out of the fray. The owner of the dogs was apologetic but we had to think a few days about what to do. Since we have never seen these dogs running loose in the 12 years we have been in the hood we decided to let this single disabled vet keep them and just had him pay the $500 vets bill plus. He says he owes us big time, but we said we are neighbors. However we informed him that if we saw the dogs loose again we would not call him just 911. He has the dogs triple locked behind wrought iron gates and a chain link fence. It's been a sad week. Luckily our strong little Gator is recovering.
