New Pastor Bill

We got ourselves a new pastor. Woo Woo! Kind of the Larry the Cable guy of pastors. We love him. Last week we had a church picnic and we wondered how much our new Pastor Bill would participate. Needn't have worried! He did group baptisimals out in the field! Ok it was only this bunch of kids who got soaked. They had a GREAT time! We've been keeping pretty busy. I have been taking a Disciple bible class that will last 32 weeks, that gets me up every moring to do my reading homework. We had a birthday party for Bruce at TGIFridays that went real well. There was a Dream Cruise event for Octoberfest and a large part of it ended up in the Bellair Plaza a block from our home. So we had to go up and take a look. And since Rita's is right there we had to get a pre-look ice cream! Jeez! I'll never lose this extra poundage!



Ray ,Bruce and Gary went to the local PBS station and saw Roy Underhill. He is a craftsman that only uses hand or non-power tools. Luckily our friend Tim is a producer there and could get them in. (Tim is on the left with his camera)

Gator has been trying on his costumes for this years Trunk or Treat in the church parking lot. I tried to tell him that maybe going as the devil may be inapropriate. : ) We are planning a scarecrow theme so Gator will probably end up being a little bandannad dog.
