Tropical Storm Fay

Well this is the way it's been since Fay became an issue. As you can see by this Doppler pic it has just about missed us completely. Oh sure we got a little rain that we needed but no floods, high winds, trees down or power outages. We even drove 30 miles south to go to dinner last night.

On another note cousin Cindy's son Nick has flown the nest at 18 and moved back to New Hampshire. Not sure how that's going to work out as he's living with his grandmother until he finds a job and his own place. or finishes his senior year of high school. He flew out from Daytona so they came down for the night. Here they are at our NEW hang out, Rita's Frozen Custard and Italian Ice. : )
I went up to Palatka to visit Cindy and try to fill a little bit of that empty nest syndrome. We went out to dinner and then found a place to shoot pool. I stayed at the Sleep Inn. Next day I went to Ravine Gardens State park before I headed back to Daytona.

Gator at the table. He never does that because he prefers the fluffy comfy chairs.
