Ray and I had a nice quiet Thanksgiving at home. Of course we invited several people but for various reasons they couldn't attend. Consequently we got to make all the traditional foods we grew up with. Ray got his saurkraut and corn, I got my turnips and parsnips. I think it will take a little while to polish off that "company anticipatory " 20# turkey. : ) Luckily I only made pumpkin squares for dessert.
