New Hampshire Trip

What a perfect trip to New Hampshire! Ok except for flying US Air which we will NEVER do again. Very unfriendly and disorganized. One employee even told me I wasn't allowed to fly without a helping companion, then he told us he couldn't lift me because I was a woman. I told the man that "I was going to be sitting on the plane the rest of the day then". He went to report me to his supervisor who sent him back to do his job. Yeesh! Ray's pretty upset too and is writing the letter to US air.



Stayed at Paul Perry's in New Durham for most of the trip except the nite befor Mark's wedding. Had a great time playing cards with Paul and his fiance' Patty. We stayed at The New England Center in Durham So I could get a shower. Lovely!



We were able to catch Mark and Robin and Jenni for dinner so that was a nice pre-wedding event.




Got to visit with a lot of old friends at Marks wedding. Mike and Sue Downs and Karl and Donna (they bought the northwood homestead) from Northwood. Of course there are folks we didn't get to see and will have to make a special effort next time we get up there.




We did have a chance to see Robin and Christin in Stratham, also Kenny McIlveen (Robin's stepdad) who is recovering from heart surgery. Christin just had a baby a couple of months back and moved back to NH with Javier (Frank) and the cutest babe Marley Jay.


The foliage was just beginning and the weather was beautiful. Ok the weather was beautiful on every day but Saturday when Mark and Robin got married at Bow Lake in the rain. They say that's good luck! Any way they were extremely happy and are now spending their honeymoon in Iceland.
