Still making our Puerto Rico travel plans. Tricia may recognize this parador (bed and breakfast) in Joyuya. The Hicienda Gripinas. It's an old converted coffee plantation located in the middle of the island. We plan to spend two days there.

Just bought a new matress set to replace our 20-year-old adjustable bed that we had had gotten through one of Ray's patients when he was working.
We have discovered a small problem. It's so high the dogs can't jump up on it. Me neither. : ) They are supposed to be bringing a lo-profile boxspring after we get back from vacation. It's sooo high we may have to put it off the frame anyway. Jeez I hope it's comfortable!

Hey!! I have been enjoying your blog. I've also looked at the dropshots site a bit as well. Bummer about the mattress. Hopefully, after everything it is comfy. You might have to get one of those lil dog steps so they can get up on the bed. :o)
Hey! Hacienda Gripinas! That was such a nice place... beautiful area! I wouldn't mind venturing back to Puerto Rico one of these days. I'll add it to the list...
We're desperately hoping to get a new, super comfy mattress set SOON! Good luck with yours.
The new mattress story is that they are going to take it off the frame and just put it on the floor. Yeesh!
