Baltimore Trip 08

Last week we flew to Baltimore for the annual family reunion. Adventure flying I guess. First the plane was not allowed to take off for 2.5 hours because of lightning in Baltimore. Then 45 mins in line to take off. Then 45 mins circling Baltimore airport before we could land. Then another hour to wait for lightning to stop so they could get the luggage off the plane. Jeesh. By the time we got to our 5pm hotel arrival it was 11:30! The Admirel Fell was cool. not particularily accessible but not really surprised. Lovely creakie floors that I'm sure other boarders thought were ghosts haunting. : )


Ray was the only one that got to attend the family reunion. Unfortunately II had one of my now famour 104 temperature bouts that kept me in bed all day. When we flew back to Florida it was still hitting 103 by the time I got home. Blech.

If you click on this picture of the view from our window you'll see a tour of seguays going thru the park. : ) And that big building with the columns was where "High School Musical" was filmed as well as "Homicide".

Baltimore is such an historic city! We just love all the row houses and cobblestone streets. While we were riding around we came upon Ray's old fire engine that he was on back in the 80's. Also went by his old fire house.
