They also had the best chicken gumbo and b-b-q, not to mention a fire dancer and loads of loud cajun and rock music. Kathy, Gary, Ray and I had a great time!

Mardi Gras Daytona Style
This past Saturday we went to downtown Main Street for the 1st Mardi Gras celebration in Daytona. They had a parade with lots of local vendors throwing out beads, candy, frisbees, t-shirts, noise makers and other assorted items. Of course the parade had entries that reflect the area like motorcycles, race cars and beach goers. Lots of Jeeps all decked out. Here is a small representation of the event.
They also had the best chicken gumbo and b-b-q, not to mention a fire dancer and loads of loud cajun and rock music. Kathy, Gary, Ray and I had a great time!
